The YIS Youth Committee is pleased to offer babysitting and groups to our membership for both Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. Daytime groups and babysitting is included in YIS membership fees. Evening babysitting for Kol Nidrei and Mincha-Neilah is available for a per-child charge. Details are below.

Parents must send a labeled lunch and labeled water bottle for each child attending daytime groups. The YIS Youth Department will provide snacks at designated times for the children. 

Rosh HaShanah

Rosh HaShanah groups will run from 9:00AM - 1:30PM for ages 1 through 5th grade.

Sign up is required by October 1st for Rosh HaShana babysitting and groups. Only children that have been registered will be permitted to attend. 

Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur groups will run from 9:00AM - 2:30PM for ages 1 through 5th grade. 

Babysitting for the evening services of Kol Nidrei and/or Mincha-Neilah are also available:

• Cost: $5 per child per evening

• Ages: N4 - 5th grade only

• Timing for Kol Nidrei Babysitting (Oct 11): 6:50 pm - 9:30 pm 

• Timing for Mincha-Neilah Babysitting (Oct 12): 4:30 pm - 7:45 pm

Sign up is required by October 6th for both the Yom Kippur morning groups/babysitting as well as the evening babysitting. Only children that have registered and paid (if using the evening babysitting) will be permitted to attend.
